The GHI was launched in Summer 2008 in an effort to help improve the quality of life for 275 Dagomba tribemembers living in poverty-stricken remote villages located in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The cost is $10 per adult/$1 per child for registration and enrollment. Upon enrollment, healthcare is free for one year.
